The Terrace is an intimate 100-capacity venue at the heart of West Yorkshire, in the centre of Dewsbury. This chameleon-like space equally lends itself to a club night, private party, live music venue, or entertainment show.
As well as hosting world-renowned musicians and DJs, we are also dedicated to supporting and showcasing local West Yorkshire up-and-coming talent through our collaboration with Dewsbury Music Foundation (DMF). See more about their mission and the artists involved.
We’ve been called The Terrace since 2021, but the venue has operated under various guises over the years; locals may know it as ‘The Glue Pot’ or ‘The Old Turk’ and remember its days as a rock/goth bar!
It’s even been temporarily transformed into The Perseverance Hotel for ITV drama, The Long Shadow, and The Dog & Hammer for a private party. When Back to Basics founder, Dave Beer, played here we couldn’t resist changing it to The Dave Beerhouse for one night only.
It remains as flexible as ever, offering the perfect intimate space for everything from a birthday party, rock pub, house club, or indie disco and more.
